In the summer of 2022, Phoebe and I went to Estonia to make a book. We didn’t know what kind of book it was going to be until we sat down in Tallinn and decided that it should be a book of all things. In order to not be overwhelmed with the task of creating a 'proper book', we couldn’t take it too seriously, however, we wanted to capture everything that falls through the cracks when you travel and a give a place to all the things that don’t end up in the travel stories. The train tickets, food wrappers, strangers you meet on the streets are held together in this book.
This is a collection of everything we wanted to keep from our travels in Estonia, and a day in Finland. It’s a silly book! and it brought us so much joy to make.
The book exists as a single copy. Held together by a stick and a clip that we found on the streets of Old Town, this hand-bound creation would be difficult to replicate.
